As a Procurement Inspection Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of procurement processes and products within the Oil & Gas industry. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control processes for procurement activities within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Conduct inspections of vendor facilities to evaluate compliance with quality requirements and standards.
- Review procurement documentation, including specifications and drawings, to ensure accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify quality improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions.
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct audits to assess compliance with quality standards.
- Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers, addressing any quality issues and ensuring timely resolution.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement inspection, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Knowledge of quality control processes and procedures within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Experience in conducting inspections and audits of vendor facilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
