Eram Talent is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Procurement Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet project requirements and objectives
- Identify potential suppliers, conduct vendor assessments, and negotiate contracts and agreements
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to quality, cost, and delivery requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication
- Manage the procurement budget and track expenses
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies
- Evaluate and implement process improvements to optimize the procurement function
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a technical/engineering environment
- Strong background in Oil & Gas.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations
- Experience with supplier evaluation and selection
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in procurement software/tools
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
