Eram Talent is currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Engineer - Civil & Marine to join our team. As a Senior Procurement Engineer - Civil & Marine, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for civil and marine construction projects, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the specific requirements of civil and marine construction projects
- Identify potential suppliers, conduct vendor assessments, and negotiate contracts and agreements for civil and marine construction materials and services
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and delivery timelines
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication
- Manage the procurement budget for civil and marine construction projects and track expenses
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies
- Evaluate and implement process improvements to optimize the procurement function for civil and marine construction
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, specifically in civil and marine construction projects
- In-depth knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations in the civil and marine construction industry
- Experience with supplier evaluation and selection for construction materials and services
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in procurement software/tools
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
