DPL Insurance Limited is part of the Turners Automotive Group and we are currently looking for a for a motivated and passionate Commercial Manager to join our team based in our Northcote office.
The Role
The primary purpose is to lead the implementation of product, underwriting and pricing strategies to ensure profitable growth of the Insurance Business.
This role will provide expert advice and support to DPL staff where required, and lead the business operations ensuring excellent customer service, partner support and efficient and effective policy lifecycle administration.
A key part of this role is to continually review products, competitor initiatives and developments to ensure DPL is innovative and continues to meet both new and existing customer and market needs.
Having extensive industry experience, you will be a highly organised, motivated and hands-on leader who wants your team to succeed.
Key experience and skills required are:
- Minimum 10 years within senior insurance role;
- Strong understanding of the insurance business’ product, pricing and underwriting operations;
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy;
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate business objectives into workable solutions, using analysis and factual decision making to support initiatives;
- Proven leadership, coaching and team building skills;
- Good understanding of implementing and managing change;
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced and changing market environment.
