This business is a global pioneer in the I.T. software industry and has enjoyed year on year growth. With further acquisitions happening this is an exciting time to be joining this successful Global business. With 3 ‘work from home’ days and a very cool office near Britomart in the CBD for the other 2 days, you will have the best of both worlds!
What you will be doing:
Supported by an experienced Senior Accountant, who enjoys mentoring and developing their team, your role will be strongly focused on billing and revenue.
There will be plenty of opportunity for challenge and growth in this role and you will be directly responsible for:
- Developing and running reports around monthly revenue and cost exception reporting
- Develop and run product venue model forecasting future and historical trends
- Process and record all price increase and customer discounts (allowing ease of reporting for analysis)
- Overseeing and managing the AR/Credit Control function
- Overseeing and providing quality control of the month end client invoicing process and managing the interface with the accounting system
- Providing and enhancing performance reporting and analysis that enables the business to measure success and make informed decisions
About you:
As the successful applicant for this role, it is expected that you will have a relevant tertiary qualification and even be potentially pursuing CA or CPA. You will need to be system savvy with intermediate to advanced excel level. In an ideal world you will already have experience in PowerBI or other data reporting and modelling tools (however this potentially can be learned on the role). You will love making sense of the numbers and communicating them to the business. You will have excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills and be naturally analytical.
