George Grant Engineering Ltd (GGE) is a Structural Steel company based in Papakura and provides
site erection services around Auckland and throughout New Zealand. The company enjoys a solid
reputation built up over many years of successful contract delivery.
GGE employs approximately 60 staff throughout multiple divisions of the business.
We are currently seeking a Dispatcher to take charge of all deliveries from our factory in Papakura.
This is a very demanding and busy position and is responsible for the following:
Managing the week to week dispatch forecast.
Ensuring all materials are ready for dispatch as forecast.
Helping with and managing loading of trucks.
Managing trucks, trailers and drivers including all necessary maintenance and permits etc.
Ensuring all delivery notes and other paper work are complete and up to date.
Ideally you will have warehouse dispatch experience in a busy environment and/or experience with structural steel and the construction industry. You will be confident and familiar with computer data entry and logistics software.
Hours are guaranteed 40hrs but must be prepared to work regular 52 hr week.
