We are delighted to be working with our client who are seeking a trade counter/inside sales executive to join their team in Cork on a full time permanent basis.
For You:
- €30K
- Monday - Friday, half day Saturday every 3 weeks
- 22 days Annual Leave
Responsibilities:
- Responding to sales inquiries by phone or in person
- Providing advice, information, and quotations to customers
- Maximizing sales and margin by offering alternative products, up-selling, and promoting own brands
- Staying updated with product knowledge and branch costs and targets
- Taking and processing customer orders
- Purchasing from MRP within the branch
- Assisting with all aspects of the business on site
- Carrying out other ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Sales experience is essential
- Electrical wholesale experience and electrical product knowledge is an advantage
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills to interact with colleagues and customers
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in IT skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Possession of a full Irish driving license preferred
