This is your opportunity to work as a Team Leader within Instrument and Enterprise Services (IES) division of Thermo Fisher Scientific. You will use your service management and relationship building experience to become a key member of the Unity Lab Services (ULS) team.

The Team Leader is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the laboratory by overseeing various tasks related to asset management, engineer support, paperwork validation, and contract renewal preparations.

Responsibilities:
General Works

  • Conduct site operations in accordance with terms and conditions of program contract and Statement of Work
  • Maintain agreed target margins and financial revenue
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction and loyalty, using Customer Allegiance Score (CAS) survey results.
  • Assist in data collection and analysis of customer metrics to include but not limited to financials, compliance, growth, and profitability.
  • Support action plans and tracking mechanisms to drive continuous improvement.
  • Monitor all service activities and customer concerns to include, timeliness, accuracy, and quality of the event.
  • Ensure that all compliance and regulatory guidelines are met specific to asset management and services program to include all facets of inventory management through provided tools..
  • Evaluate the efficiency and quality of work undertaken by engineers, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Verify and update the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) with the most up-to-date information regarding onsite assets and entitlements.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and recommendations for contract renewals, considering factors such as cost, quality, and service levels.
  • Travel to multiple client locations as applicable to support account needs (< 5%).

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Facility Management, Business Administration) or equivalent experience.
  • Fluent in both German and the English language
  • 2 years people management/supervisory experience with direct employee oversight
  • Strong understanding of laboratory operations, safety protocols, and engineering processes.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems and proficiency in using related software for data management.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Experience in a customer facing position
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Life Sciences or Healthcare environment
