Warehouse Operative/Storesperson

We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative/Storesperson to join our team in Future Nutrition.

Based in Enniscorthy, Co Wexford, Future Nutrition specialise in manufacturing beverages and supplements for the sports nutrition, health and wellbeing sector. Over the past 12 years, we have built a great team in our company where hard work and commitment are recognised and rewarded. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established, energetic company in this growing FMCG sector.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will ensure the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse materials, goods and products to feed business operations and customer demand.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Take delivery of goods and supplies
• Organise deliveries to go out with the correct haulier or courier.
• Identify and resolve delivery issues.
• Check for damaged or missing items
• Store goods appropriately
• Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a forklift truck
• Load goods for dispatch
• Ensure delivery of materials to production lines in accordance with production standards
• Input data regarding stock and inventory into a computerised system
• Keep accurate stock records
• Carry out stock counts as and when required
• Keep paperwork up to date
• Handle any hazardous materials in an appropriate manner
• Keep areas of work clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency
• Make recommendations to aid efficiency and add value

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse/stores environment
• Forklift experience and valid licence
• Computer literate/IT skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Able to work effectively with other team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Good planning and organisational abilities
• Flexible, reliable and conscientious

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From €13.50 per hour
