We are currently seeking a reliable and responsible individual to fill the position of a Gateman based in Leixlip Co. Kildare. As a Gateman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and smooth operation of the construction site by controlling access and monitoring the entry and exit of personnel and vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Control and monitor the entry and exit of vehicles, materials, and personnel at the construction site gate.
- Verify the identity of individuals and ensure that only authorized personnel and vehicles gain access to the site.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing vehicles, materials, and personnel.
- Enforce safety and security protocols to prevent unauthorized access and ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with construction site staff, visitors, and contractors.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized entrance area.
Requirements:
- Require a valid Safepass
- Require a valid Manual Handling certificate
- Proven experience as a gatekeeper or security personnel, preferably in a construction site environment is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make quick decisions.
- Familiarity with construction site safety regulations is a plus.
Salary: €13.20 per hour
Expected hours: 48 per week
