Lifting Responsibilities:

Prepare daily crane checklist with crane operator.
Conduct TBT and TI with crew.
Establish proper communication with involve crews.
Close and monitor all the activities and ensue all the requirements are followed and in place.
Supervisor responsible person for his team safety.
Maintain rigging gears register and update it.
Make sure that all lifting gears are certified and color coded as per QG standard.
Organization and control of the lifting operation.
Assessment of the lifting operation to provide such planning, selection of cranes, Lifting gear and equipment,
Instruction and supervision as is necessary for the task to be undertaken safely.
Ensure that accurate weights, radii, heights etc. are established.
Ensure that the ground is suitable for taking up the loads to be imposed.
Ensure that suitable access is provided to the site and any area required for erection and dismantling the crane.
All hazards such as services (gas, water, electricity etc.) above or below ground are identified and suitable precautions are taken.
Ensure that adequate inspection and maintenance of the equipment has been carried out.
Ensure that there is an effective procedure for reporting defects and incidents and taking any necessary corrective action.
Ensure that both the rigger and the crane operator are familiar with the method of signaling to be used.

Lifting Qualification:

Education and Training: Rigger Training;
LEEA Certificate and Engineering Degree are required.:
Lifting Certificate in Oil and Gas.:
Good ability to read, write speak and understand English
Ability to work with several nationalities
Good experience in lifting activities
Experience in Lifting activities as a lifting foreman / Mobile or Tower Crane Operator
7+ Years of experience in lifting activities

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
