Household Member of Staff

M Luxury Household Recruitment is searching for a Household member of staff for the Monkstown area for a Part-time position 12 hours/week for a private house. It’s a large house with 6 bedrooms, 8 other rooms, 6 bathrooms with a gardener who comes in once per week and a cleaner who comes in twice a week for 4 hours each time.

Days of work - Monday (4 hours morning only) Wednesday (4 hours - flexible on time) Friday (4 hours - flexible on time).

It’s a 5-minute walk from sea point dart station.

Duties of the role will be:

• Housekeeper - Organise house, laundry, ironing, tidying, light cleaning, put shopping away, kids’ bedrooms, help with packing if going away.
• Walk dog some days
• small dog - Maltese/Shizu breed.
• Prepare simple kid’s dinners some days (Spaghetti Bolognese, Tuna bake, Chicken & pasta) and possible help with adult meals prep - Thermomix.
• Organising inside presses to get a system going, laying out kids uniforms and afterschool activity outfits, organising kids’ bedrooms/clothes.

Requirements:

• Looking for an independent, organised thinker.
• Friendly, organised, independent, dog loving person.
• Reliable, warm, trustworthy & caring are crucial.
• Supervision of kids if principle is away - 14, 12 & 10.

Benefits

• Salary €18- €25 per hour depending on experience.
• Driving not necessary, car parking space available if required
• Possibility to take July and August off and other main school holidays.
• If Principle is away for a long weekend there is the option of doing a school pick up and supervising until after dinner until a relative comes to look after the kids - not a must, just an option for additional hours.
