Job Title: Senior Planner

Project: Gas-Powered Energy Centre
Position Type: Full-time
Site-based: 80% of the time
My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Planner to join their team for the development of a state-of-the-art gas-powered energy centre. The Senior Planner will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of this project, ensuring that all phases are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Scheduling:
Develop, maintain, and update the project schedule using Primavera P6 software.
- Collaborate with project team members to gather and integrate detailed scheduling information.
- Identify critical paths and propose strategies for schedule optimization.
Resource and Budget Management:
Coordinate with the project team to allocate resources effectively.
- Monitor budget and resource allocation, providing regular reports to management.
Risk Management:
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and update plans accordingly.
Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as a primary point of contact for scheduling and planning inquiries.
- Regularly communicate with stakeholders to provide project updates and gather feedback.
Quality Control:
Ensure that project planning adheres to industry standards and best practices.
- Implement quality control processes to maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mission critical/hi-tech construction project planning (desirable in the energy sector
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 software is essential.
- Strong site based/construction experience/knowledge
- Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in gas-powered energy projects.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
Salary: From €140,000.00 per year
