What we are looking for
We are looking for a well-organized and communicative person who can lead project teams in both large and small projects and who wants to grow together with us. The project teams will have people from various disciplines working together to innovate and deliver world class products. You have a good understanding of how to develop and manufacture the key elements of our products, i.e mechanics, electronics a software.
Key responsibilities
- You will lead product development projects all the way from product idea to volume manufacturing. This normally also includes delivery of a full product system solution with App and/or other needed SW support products
- You will lead internal and external project resources as well as our European and Asian partners
- Your work is truly cross functional and requires interacting and networking on all levels both within and outside Profoto
- You lead the plan, follow-up and report progress for project scope, schedule, resources, budget, and risks
- You will be an important player contributing to our continuous improvements in how to work in our projects and development processes.
Requirements:
In order to be successful in this role, we expect that you have a high educational background and experiences in leading product development projects, as well as:
- Relevant Master of Science degree or equivalent
- Relevant experience within a product development organization, preferably including SW, electronics and mechanics.
- English, written and spoken
- Project Management and product development methodologies
- Knowledge of product manufacturing and quality management
- Ability to understand product system dependencies and lead and coordinate different projects to deliver a working system solution
- Proven skills for stakeholder management, both on management level and operative level
- Strong desire for driving and embracing change
- Action oriented worth a strong sense of urgency
- Occasional travel to European and Asian manufacturing partners will be a part of your job.

You will be a member of our Project Management team and part of our R&D organization of 40 professional experts all based at our headquarters. As a person you are structured, systematic, and socially skilled and you like to work in team and cooperate with other people. You have extensive experience working with product development projects including electronics, mechanics and sw and you have the capability to lead and motivate your project team into the right direction in hence of time, cost and quality.
