Key responsibilities:

  • Working independently or as part of a team you will be required to manage all aspects of FF&E Projects from concept to installation and hand over on site
  • Developing initial client brief and creating concept presentations
  • Creating technical drawings and tender packages for construction
  • Producing space-plans, elevations and bespoke joinery drawings
  • Co-ordinating all elements of FF&E including selection, specification, ordering and installation
  • Sourcing and procuring bespoke joinery and FF&E design, including technical drawings to be issued to suppliers
  • Creating project schedules and costings
  • Liaise with contractors, architects, suppliers and site in order to deliver a project

Knowledge and experience:

  • Bachelor degree in interior design or interior architecture
  • Minimum three years’ industry experience working in the UK, including on high-end residential projects
  • Be creative and able to find imaginative FF&E solutions regardless of budget and time deadlines
  • Good understanding of space planning
  • Capacity to deal with multiple projects at one time
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience of working on-site and liaising with contractors to ensure accurate execution of design and assure the highest levels of quality are maintained
  • In-depth knowledge of the FF&E market at the required level
  • Ability to solve problems and find solutions to difficult situations in a calm professional manner
  • Be analytical and extremely organised, able to prioritise tasks under pressure and pre-empt problems from experience

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Vectorworks, Sketch Up and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent presentation and client facing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Experience with Estimc preferable
