We are seeking an experienced Morning Shift Manager to plan, organize, and face any challenges in the operations of the restaurant.
As the Morning Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our restaurant during the crucial morning hours. You will lead a team of passionate individuals to ensure that guests receive top-notch service and that the restaurant runs smoothly from open to the shift change. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities:
- Open the restaurant and ensure it is set up for success and prepare the dining area.
- Manage and supervise staff members during the morning shift, including servers and support staff.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring that everyone knows their role and performs it effectively.
- Conduct inventory checks and restock necessary items to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Handle transactions, including processing payments and reconciling receipts at the end of the shift.
- Address any issues or problems that arise during the shift, implementing effective solutions.
- Communicate important information to staff members and relay any feedback or concerns to upper management.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant setting.
- Strong leadership abilities and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in both Greek and English
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure with grace.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work morning and night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
