About the team & role
The Global E Commerce Team is responsible for capturing and identifying user's e-commerce intention and operating the whole process to promote GMV. Some of the projects you will be part of: commerce recommendation, EC labelling, EC evaluation and EC events.

Our mission is to build and strengthen user awareness that they can shop on TikTok; Also to enhance the usage frequency of the search function and stimulate users' e commerce search needs. While improving user's search experience, accelerate the e-commerce business to grow.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for undertaking search-side EC campaigns proposed by different projects; improve the user's search experience for such activities in search and expand the user's search demand for content.
  • Optimize cooperation standards and strategies based on different types of EC activities in certain regions.
  • Dig into the demands of each type of content in different regions and explore ways to improve search-related metrics.
  • Conduct basic surveys or analyses on certain data to assess performance and expression.
  • Find potential opportunities and risks through daily work and put forward suggestions for improvement.
  • Additional compatible and related responsibilities which are not necessarily listed above.
  • Willing to work with sensitive issues that include child exploitation, a variety of religious and political views, violence, adult & sexual content.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience, advanced degree is preferred.
  • Knowledge about search engines, the best way to be addicted to TikTok, and familiarity with shopping apps like Lazada, shopee or other apps.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in social media within a high-growth environment. Familiar with common software, and the SOP of events online in social apps.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency ( both written and verbal) in English as well as depth understanding of regional culture and familiarity with users' habits in the region.
  • Proven experience in cross functional work and stakeholder management.
  • Solid sense of data analysis, E commerce campaigns, SEO, especially for complicated business matrices.
  • Solid judgment when encountering unsure cases and feedback timely and properly.
