CR2 is a leading provider of Internet and multichannel banking, ATM, and card payment solutions to the worldwide financial services industry. We are currently looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual, with a strong interest in software development, to join our BankWorld ATM Client Development team as a Software Engineer.
What will you be doing:
- Designing and implementing new features to agreed timelines, both on your own and as a member of a feature-driven scrum team.
- Following sound software design, process, and quality practices.
- Occasionally provide out of hours support for the product.
- Any other related tasks as required by the line manager.
Travel Requirements:
Open to Travel to other CR2 offices if required.
What you will bring to CR2:
- Honours Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related discipline
- 2-3+ years proven experience in C++ \ C# programming languages
- Object oriented Design & Programming skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of attention to detail and strong aptitude for learning new technologies
- Knowledge and/or experience in C++ / C# programming
- Knowledge and/or experience with modern Client/Server architectures
- Knowledge and/or experience with distributed architectures
- Knowledge and/or experience with TCP/IP Socket Programming
- Familiarity with XML and XPath technologies
- Experience of software testing and methodologies
- Involvement with software projects and can demonstrate some experience in issue resolution
- Experience of Scrum Agile Software Development
- Knowledge of common design patterns would be a distinct advantage.
- Worked in a team environment and played a role in contributing to project success and products improvements
- Excellent team player, cooperative and flexible.

- Working in Dublin Office at least 2 days per week is required for the role.
