HR Advisor

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our clients People Capability team as an HR Advisor.

In this role, you will work closely with a team of HR, OD, L& D and Recruitment Advisors for your business area supporting the relevant departments and management teams. Your work will vary according to the needs of the business but include dealing with full variety of situations and supporting managers to deliver positive outcomes, whether it be ER, Recruitment, Training or general HR support.

What will you be doing?

As HR Advisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Building effective relationships with managers across a number of different departments.
  • Developing coaching relationships with managers to build their capability in managing and supporting their people.
  • Managing and tracking a variety of ER issues.
  • Providing advice and training to managers, ensuring compliance with policies and legislation whist liaising with the Senior members of your own team when required.

For this position we are seeking an HR professional who has worked in an advisory role before and is comfortable providing a good level of support to departmental managers. You'll be familiar with the dynamics of working with managers from a variety of different groups and be confident of adjusting your thought processes based on individual department requirements,

You will bring to this role:

  • Sound employment law knowledge
  • Experience working in a changing and fast-paced environment
  • The ability to adapt your approach based on the circumstances whist maintaining a balance between what's best for the business and the employee
  • Experience in gathering and analysing employee data

**Central city location, some work from home can be discussed, no travel required. Close to transport hub
