Primary Role:
To plan, program, manage, supervise, and coordinate all activities of any assigned project to meet safety, quality, environmental, and financial expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Implement the company’s safety policy, rules, processes and procedures
  • Develop safe and efficient construction methodologies
  • Carry out daily hazard identification, risk assessment and risk management
  • Plan & programme all works in conjunction with the project team to satisfy the Client’s demands and Company’s best interests.
  • Review designs to identify any issues, clashes & ensure buildability
  • Arrange material orders, deliveries & stock control
  • Ensure daily plant pre starts are completed and faults from the same are recorded
  • Ensure that all plant is maintained in a clean and tidy condition and that routine mechanical maintenance is undertaken.
  • Ensure all silt controls are constructed and maintained to regional standards
  • Provide direction and adequate job instructions to staff & subcontractors
  • Ensure that correct standards are being achieved and maintained offering technical and practical assistance as required
  • Identify, declare, monitor, and reduce through quality management the quantity of remedial work
  • Promote good public relations, teamwork, and productivity.
  • Assist with staff assessments, training, and development
  • From time to time any other additional duties to be performed to help the overall team effort

Safety

Strictly implement the company’s safety policy, rules, processes and procedures. Actively lead the project with regard to health and safety, hazard identification, risk assessment and risk management. Ensure all prestart processes are completed and faults from the same are recorded and actioned. Work collaboratively with the company health and safety manager to deliver the project and company objectives.

Work Experience:

  • Either a relevant qualification OR no less than 5 years of relevant work experience.
