Join our Mitre 10 MEGA Cambridge Trade DC as our Dispatch Coordinator, a pivotal position within our Trade Team. We're on the lookout for a dynamic individual who understands the significance of top-notch customer service for both our Trade and DIY clientele. As a Dispatch Coordinator, you will report directly to the Trade Operations Manager, overseeing the efficient delivery of building materials to our valued customers.
Your responsibilities will encompass coordinating deliveries, managing orders, and ensuring prompt fulfillment of customer requests. Operating forklifts will be part of your daily routine, along with loading orders and preparing yard dockets. In addition to managing delivery logistics, you'll also provide invaluable assistance to customers, offering expert advice on building materials usage and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
Safety is paramount in our operations. Therefore, you'll be tasked with upholding rigorous Health and Safety standards and ensuring adherence to company protocols at all times.
Physical fitness is a must, given the demanding nature of the role, which encompasses heavy lifting and varied work environments spanning the yard, retail store, drive-thru, and delivery vehicles.
Flexibility is key in our retail/trade environment, with work hours potentially spanning all store opening hours, including weekends and public holidays.
