We are looking for Senior Analytics Consultants to join our Experian Turkey Team!

The role requires that you have a strong background in machine learning and data mining. You will be a team player who is eager to both teach and learn on a daily basis, who is proactive and self-motivated and has excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serves as an analytical consultant for complex client deliveries/implementations.
  • Lead/execute analytical projects from solution design and data integrity evaluation through solution documentation and implementation.
  • Collaborate with internal and external clients to determine the appropriate analysis parameters and performance measures to be applied, as well as requirements for decision tool and strategy
  • Interprets and present results of analyses, identifies trends and issues and recommends alternatives to support business objectives.
  • Support the development of new analytical and data products and services, and the enhancement of current processes and offerings.
  • Executes projects in support of the direct revenue goal for Experian Analytics, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Work interactively with a team of highly trained and skilled consultants, project managers, statisticians, and analysts.
  • Develop and maintain internal and external relationships.
  • Support the senior management of the department to meet the established department goals.
  • Be responsible for understanding the project’s requirements and for communicating them to more junior staff
  • Prioritize workloads and provide mentoring and guidance to Data Analysts.

Qualifications:

  • Significant experience (4-5 years at least) in the development of analytical projects in the field of credit and risk management, anti-fraud modelling and or Marketing.
  • Deep knowledge of analytical techniques and decisioning process. Strong aptitude in credit decisioning, strategy setting, and gathering business requirements
  • Knowledge and experience of regulatory-driven analytics (AIRB, IFRS9 etc.) and/or experience in development of machine learning models (especially applied to credit ,fraud and risk management) will be a major plus.
  • Degree or equivalent standard, with a high numeric content e.g. Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Econometrics, Operational Research from top universities. Degree in Data Science is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively. Problem solver who proposes innovative solutions, able to shape and define solutions matched to requirements.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong personal motivation and commitment to results
  • Strong knowledge of statistic and Machine Learning (clustering, regression, neural networks, SVMs, trees, and ensemble methods such as random forests and boosting etc. ) and how statistical methodologies are employed in model development
  • Experience and proficiency in programming and data preparation (SAS, SPSS, SQL, Python ,R or similar).
  • Established track record (at least four years) of delivering complex analytical projects
  • Fluent in English and Turkish - both written and spoken with working proficiency

The following abilities and skills will be considered a further advantage:

  • Working experience in ModelOps or DevOps process
  • Working experience of minimum capital regulation (i.e. Basel AIRB) and/or of accounting regulation like IFRS 9 and how it is applied to products and services like those provided by Experian
