Job Purpose**:
European Corporates IG/Crossover Credit Analyst

Job Background/context:
Provide fundamental and market analysis of European Corporates to Credit Trading.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Credit Trading with fundamental/trading views and analyses related to cash and CDS of European Corporates.
  • Analyze Corporate balance sheets, leverage metrics and undertake financial modelling including developing scenario analyses and securities valuations.
  • Review bond documents and legal documentation associated with individual corporates and their bonds.
  • Review and manage risk on books with trading team.
  • Regular client dialogue and interaction required.
  • Prepare market commentary and trade ideas for distribution on a daily basis.

Knowledge/Experience:
Proven experience analyzing corporates and/or European credit.

Skills:

  • Strong financial analytical skills with experience analyzing legal documents (offering memorandums, M&A agreements, regulatory documents, etc ).
  • Strong modelling and presentation skills.
  • Attentive to detail.
  • Able to perform on a trading desk setting.
  • Demonstrate team skills to work with numerous partners.
