Responsibilities:
- Prepare mood board for new collection of Deepa Gurnani
- Design new pieces in given budget
- Work closely with the Artisans so that they create samples
- Generate concepts, style and help with photo shoots
- Introduce new & innovative methods of creative execution
- Participate in Client Meetings and take constant feedback on product improvement
- Convey design concepts to various internal and external teams
- Research Market Trends - remain up-to-date with current fashion trends
- Manage design processes to ensure that all deadlines are met
- Daily task majorly will comprise of;
- Follow-up with karkhandar on delivering sample pieces
- Create pieces with in-house karigars
- Accurately allocate work amongst karigars
- Co-ordinate with ERP team for costing
- Co-ordinate with Sourcing Team for design specs
- Maintain proper record of designs
- Control Design cost
- Follow-up with QC for in-house sample pieces
- Handing over raw material to in-house karigars
- Visit karkhandars
- Source new materials from market
Qualifications/ Skills:
- Have an affinity for Embroidery
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Proactive
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Designing /Arts
- Diploma in designing (any specialization)
Computer knowledge:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Experience:
- Preferable - 1-year minimum
Reporting Manager: Sr. Designer
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
