The Position

Supervise on daily local business and provide full spectrum of professional supply chain & logistics support.

  • Managing company overall supply chain strategy operational in order to maximize the process efficiency throughout streamlining the procedures, and to enable organization compliance.
  • Oversighting the 3rd party services providers in distribution & Logistics operation to performed in high services standards. To ensure 3rd Parties handle Organon products in a proper way and in compliance with Organon standards.

Responsibilities

Logistics & Compliance Management

  • Supervising 3rd party’s in establishing the procedures of brokerage and customs clearance services to ensure product handling of import / export in compliance with International Trade regulations
  • Oversight Distributor Operation team to smooth inbound (incoming shipments) and outbound processes with KPI in Serveries Level Agreement SLA.

S&OP Supports & Inventory Management
- Support DP/FP in conducting Pre-S&OP meeting with each of BU being in charge:

  • Review forecast exception (Error, Bias, outlier). Commercial team to provide the insight of what is happening in the market which drive over-selling or under-selling
  • Discuss demand change in short term and long-term vs prior submission
  • Help engage Commercial team share more insights on the marketing strategy. Discuss in detail on the market demand, and upcoming supply trend
  • Constrained supply -> impact to demand planning. Phase in - Phase out products.
  • Supporting DP/DFP to conduct the local S&OP meeting effectively, to provide a matrix data relating inventory planning & control and ensure adequate local inventory level to support business in cost/time effective manner
  • Highlight any visa issue, regulatory issue, etc. that cause supply impact & closely follow-up with relevant RA team for tracking, update and align with supply plan.
  • Review market inventory and upcoming supply forecast, supply risks, logistics problems to predict stock out risk or discard risk several quarters in advance of occurrence and any mitigation plan proposal
  • Present SCM performances in the Country Steering Committee meeting with 3PL business partners

Logistics Operation Management

  • Co-work with 3PL to set up effective communication flow within BU and Distributors for notification of market events
  • Support to set up logistics services with 3PL in supporting customer’s Product Quality Complaint (PQC) related tasks (such as defects exportation, etc.) back to MMD sites for investigations
  • Support and coordinate with 3rd party distributors to set up defects collection processes for Medical department to file product complaints for MMD investigations.

Customer Services & Supports

  • Set up effective communications with BU, Distributor/3PL to update supply status
  • Govern via operations review meeting with 3PL partners and review Distributors performances to ensure services (such as delivery orders on time, transferring stock in fast way in case of any ad-hoc request) in meeting with agreed KPI and SLA

Project Management

  • Support and co-work with Finance/IT for Organon internal system implementation (ex. SAP, RR, etc.).
  • Support and participate cross-functional projects required by local business needs
  • Support local projects and be part of the project team to implement Supply Chain transformation initiatives.

Financial & Control management

  • Support financial updates and procedures related to inventory status reflection
  • Prepare a forecast of D&L spending in brokerage services fees for customs clearance and port to door services monthly within budget.
  • Propose inventory provisions for financial updates on quarterly basis.
  • Review 3rd party distributor services fees per terms & conditions in Agreement on monthly basis.

Required Education, Experience and Skills

  • Graduate of a four-year Business course or any equivalent
  • Financial acumen is a must
  • At least 5 years experience in D&L, Importation & customs clearance processes; SAP experience a must
  • Multi-nation company experiences will be a plus
  • Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industry experiences is preferable
