Located at the heart of the Kuala Lumpur city Centre, Traders Hotel by Shangri-La is looking for a dynamic, passionate, and multi-skilled talent in delivering our Asian hospitality.
As Sales Manager we rely on you:
Implement sales action plan to selected market areas as outlined in the marketing plan and effective account management to optimize business opportunities and provide updates to Director of Sales.
Conduct daily sales calls and arrange familiarization or site inspection to corporate clients.
Aggressively source new business opportunities within industries through the assigned daily sales visit to volume corporate accounts by conducting minimum sales calls a week.
Closely follow up with business leads, assigned projects or duties and advise the Director of Sales on the job progress.
Demonstrate strong negotiation skill to maximize the hotel profit in all revenue producing areas.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Tourism/ Hospitality/ Hotel Management.
Good command in writing & speaking English. Being able to speak other languages will be an added advantage.
Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner.
Maintains the highest standards of professionalism and attitude toward all hotel guests, clients, and employees.
Develop and maintain close working relationships with all departments throughout the hotel.
Inform concerned departments of the important VIP/group arrival well in advance.
Good knowledge of computer (office) software and operate office equipment skillfully.
