Assisting in setting up the job site and preparing the layouts
- Helping with cutting and shaping wood parts for installation.
- Assisting in erecting and fitting wood structures
- Erecting wood panels and frames during installation and joinery fitting as instructed
- Hardware installation.
- Assisting with timber floor and ceiling installation.
- Conducting general repair/renovation tasks including removing doors, fixing locks
- Demolishing existing fittings etc as instructed
- Using equipment, machinery & tools in a responsible and safe manner
- Clean work area, and maintain work tools and machines daily after the work is done.
Requirements:
- No work experience is required, but prior relevant work experience is preferred
- Be punctual and responsible
- Be able to work both as a team and independently
- Available to work in multiple locations - Auckland (primary work location) and Canterbury Region, mainly Christchurch. We will cover travel expenses and arrange temporary accommodation in the Canterbury Region.
- Available to work weekends and split shifts throughout the week.
- Pre-employment drug test and police check is required.
What we offer:
- Hourly pay ranging from $28 to $33, depending on your level of experience
- This is a full-time position with a guaranteed 30 hours of work every week, but typically, we anticipate around 40 hours of workload for you.
