An amazing opportunity has become available for a skilled administrator/ coordinator to join the
Child Development Service (CDS) at Te Whatu Ora - Hawkes Bay. You will work alongside and provide administrative support services to the Child Development Service who work with tamariki who are at risk of or living with disability.
We are looking for someone with experience in a similar role, ideally working in the health sector and with a knowledge of medical terminology. You need to highly organised and have strong communication skills as well as be familiar with the stakeholders in the community that we are linked with. The workload is varied but primarily you will be;
- Coordinating appointments for clinicians.
- Ensuring all relevant paperwork is available for assessments.
- Communicating with whānau and stakeholders regularly.
- Be proactive and solution focused in supporting all aspects of the CDS team’s work.
This role offers autonomy so the ability to prioritise your own workload is a must. We offer flexible hours of work which are shared with other administrative staff. We work as a tight-knit team who are supportive of each other, to achieve the best outcomes for the children and families who come under our care.
