Hunting & Fishing New Zealand's first store was opened in Palmerston North in 1986 and it now has 40 stores nationwide. This role is based in Head Office, Palmerston North who are a dedicated and high energy team, passionate about everything outdoors.
As CS - Governance & Administration, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering top-notch administrative support to the CEO, Board, Shareholders, and wider H&F team. To maximise your effectiveness, clear and confident communication skills are essential, extending across all levels of the organisation. You'll excel in coordination, assisting with organising Conferences, Stakeholder Days, AGMs, and internal meetings, leveraging your skilfulness in interpreting needs and prioritising tasks effectively.
About this Role:
- Support the CEO, Board of Directors, Shareholders, and wider H&F team
- Assist with Governance and administrative duties for the CEO & Board
- Oversee the Board Calendar and prepare and distribute Board Papers
- Manage the digital share file register
- Administration of conferences including venue bookings, accommodation, and travel co-ordination
- Co-ordinate H&S including attending monthly meetings, on-boarding inductions and reporting
Attributes, competencies and experience I'm looking for:
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of effectively managing and communicating with diverse groups of stakeholders at different organisational levels
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational prowess
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint
- Familiarity with governance practices is preferred for establishing and implementing policies and procedures
- Ability to implement quality improvement processes effectively
