Introduction
The IBM Sustainability Software business unit is seeking talented and motivated Software Developers to work as a backend developer with a focus on data integration as we expand our capabilites in Waste & Water Management through enhancing capabilities from IBM Envizi, IBM Maximo Monitor & Tririga.
Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for development of new product capabilities including cross portoflio integration and data flows.
You will closely collaborate with the broader Product Management, Design, Development & Support team using Scrum agile methodology. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to IBM's Sustainability Software unit with major new capabilities that leverage foundational capabilities from Envizi, Maximo and Tririgra.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Be involved and take ownership of end-to-end delivery - from solution design, estimation, development, testing and deployment
- Contribute to the design and build evolution of the platform, ensuring it remains scalable, reliable, and easy to use
- Contribute to engineering discussions across our platform
- Good understanding of Cloud architecture
- Good understanding of API integration
- Good understanding of Application development with relational or No-Sql databases Broad knowledge of web security standards relating to APIs OAuth, SSL
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- AppConnect Flow Development
- Administration of AppConnect
- Experience working with IBM Maixmo and Tririgra or similar products in the Asset & Building management domain
- Experience working on APIs
