Role Introduction:
The AA is on an exciting growth and transformation journey and is seeking to recruit a Recruitment Specialist to support our People BPs on high volume direct recruitment to excellent quality and pace.
This permanent role will form part of an evolving people team and will report to our Recruitment CoE Lead with dotted line to our People BPs.
Key Responsibilities:
As the AA business and people team structure continues to evolve, so too will the responsibilities of this role evolve and change over time. The primary responsibilities and focus areas for this role will include the following:
- Create package info, RAFs and job descriptions to support speedy start to recruitment process
- Manage large volume of direct recruitment, with primary focus on hire of Call Centre Staff (Sales, CX and Rescue) and our key roadside roles (mechanics, recovery drivers etc)
- Active sourcing and headhunting of target staff through online and offline direct channels
- Deliver excellent results in recruiting including meeting quality of hire, time to hire, cost of hire metrics adhering to AA best practice process and further improving on this over time (calibrated hire decisions etc)
- Creating more compelling EVP and recruitment marketing materials for key roles that require more focus on talent attraction and retention
- Build and deliver high impact recruiting campaigns on social media and other channels which meet target audience needs
- Support with projects on other talent pipelines building - contingency resourcing, new talent pipelines, different contract options etc
- Support all recruitment logistics directly logistics including interview scheduling and all coordination end to end of process
- Ongoing interview training and coaching line managers on better quality interviewing outcomes.
- Assess other opportunities for direct recruitment for target audiences only e.g. annual job fair event etc and cost/benefit of same
- Support BPs and Recruitment CoE lead on maintaining recruitment tracker and all recruitment CoE materials
- Assist with onboarding of new employees - contracts, induction etc as required
- Support with right to work/pre screening requirements as required
- Support on improved headcount reporting all areas in conjunction with People Op and BPs
- Manage and measure employee referrals programme
- Maintain all recruitment templates and folders to optimal state (job description library etc)
- Support on management of recruitment cost tracking and ensure all direct channel costs are optimising and delivering for the business
Minimum qualifications, experience & skills
- A degree or diploma in Business, Human Resources or related discipline e.g. Employment Law, Organisational Development etc.
- Minimum 3-5 years working in a HR or people environment with at least 3 years continuous end to end recruitment lifecycle in high volume direct recruitment model
- Experience in motor industry and/or insurance industries preferred.
- CIPD qualification and/or CIPD membership preferred.
- Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office software also essential (Excel, PPT).
