Job Purpose
A critical strategic leadership role, the Head of Contracts Management has overall responsibility for the end-to-end process on all contracts and service arrangements with funders and customers across Rehab Group. They will be responsible to ensure the Contracts Management Team completes the necessary due diligence and support the Operations on all con-tract negotiations for new and existing contract conversations with statutory bodies and / or funding organisations.
The Head of Contracts Management is responsible for regularly reviewing contracts and to highlight performance requirements are fully realised against agreed commitments. They will be responsible to identify and communicate new amendments / additions to all stake-holders.
The Head of Contracts Management will develop and promote integrated pathways at cross department and divisional level to promote organic growth through extensions to existing business lines to ensure effective, efficient and sustainable service models.
Minimum Education & Skills required
- A third level qualification (NFQ8) or equivalent experience in one of the following areas: Contract, Finance, Data Analytics, Learning, Health and Social Care, Project / Change Management, or related Business discipline.
- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience at a senior level in one or more of the following fields: Health and social care, Contract management, Negotiation and customer liaison working across community support, Learning or Employability fields.
- Experience at a senior level with tendering, contract negotiation, commercial de-velopment and/or finance in a diverse, dynamic, and competitive environment.
- Strong analytical and planning competency, with experience of identifying, planning and measuring operational efficiency interventions.
- A disability ally, advocating for the rights of people with disabilities
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the end-to-end process on all contracts and the annual service arrangement process across Rehab Group that ensures sustainability of ser-vices levels and continuity of service delivery for the people that use our services, funders and clients. Ensure all contracts promote greater choice, independence and onward progression for the people that use our services.
- Leads the due diligence on new and existing contract commitments and contract ex-tensions, to ensure the contracts are current and they accurately reflect the nature, quantum, and the quality-of-service delivery.
- Leads the liaison and review of the contracting organisations and other related statutory bodies and / or funding organisations to ensure Rehab Group contract delivery is supportive of the changing environments. This will include auditing and revising contracts, to ensure all new and current commitments are in line with expectations, best practices and promotes greater choice, independence and progression for the people that use our services.
- Responsible for the development of tracking frameworks to review and monitor the performance of contracts to highlight commitments of service level agreements are achieved, across the full life cycle of the contact to funder and client expectations.
- Ensure that funding commitments are honoured by the funder and customers. Regularly identifying efficiencies, effectiveness, and value for money on all con-tracts.
