Hartley People Recruitment are currently working alongside one of the UK and Irelands leading shower enclosure companies and are currently recruiting a Technical Customer Service Representative in their Customer Service department in Kilkenny City.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Aid installers and offer telephone support for post-sales technical inquiries.
  • Assist with customer inquiries regarding products and services, predominantly focusing on technical and complex matters.
  • Utilise visual and spatial skills to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Handle spare parts inquiries from customers, fitters, and installers.
  • Resolve product or service issues by identifying the problem, explaining optimal solutions, and ensuring follow-up to guarantee resolution.
  • Contribute to team objectives by completing relevant tasks as required.
  • Reach out to customers for missing order information.
  • Prepare and submit initial documentation for returns and replacements of problematic orders.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
  • Proficiency in computer usage is essential.
  • Strong background in technical customer service is required.
  • Practical do-it-yourself experience is essential.
  • Mechanical or hands-on experience is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a builder’s merchant or construction-related company is advantageous but not mandatory.
