Job Summary

The primary responsibility will be to Develop and grow Level Instruments business in Upstream oil & Gas market, Refineries, Petrochemicals, and other diversified process industries like power, chemical, W&WW etc. in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain with positioning *Emerson Level Instruments portfolio *as the Supplier of First Choice.

This position is based out of Dharan Techno Valley, Saudi Arabia office.

The Level Sales Specialist is responsible for strengthening & developing the business from accounts strategic to EMERSON core businesses in the Western region. Maintaining & cultivating key relationships, developing & growing Plant level business, penetration into diversified industries within assigned territory is number one priority. Aligning transparent account strategies and effort with the collective sales channel, is central.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive for full scope of supply for Emerson Level Instruments products within Saudi Arabia and Bahrain and establish Emerson as supplier of first choice.
  • Close engagement with end-users, understand their pain area and provide them suitable solution
  • Identify opportunities for technology upgrade, competition displacement at key accounts
  • Penetrate into diversified industries like Power, Chemical, W&WW etc. and establish Emerson as key player for Level Instruments
  • Doing product presentation and demonstrations to end-users, engineering companies and contractors
  • Responsible for orders, deliver regional budget for Level Instruments
  • Jointly develop Business growth plan for Level Instruments business, implement the same and regular update on the progress.
  • Drive Core differentiation by "Early Engagement"
  • Manage & implement pricing/buying agreements within strategic accounts.
  • Works with the Regional Sales team and Proposals Team, provides technical information, and supports strategic customers.
  • Provide input on competitive enhancements & positioning, customer preferences, project activity, and other competitive / market data.
  • Maintain and manage Project List that is to be reported monthly for sales and forecasting purposes.
  • Prepare and submit Monthly Forecast to RSM and BDM.
  • Establish plans & strategies to protect, grow the core business.
  • Own and develop Key Account / Customer plan to capture key initiative within assigned territory and measure progress made.
  • Participate in industry functions and trade shows.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 7 -8 years (min) of sales experience in Level Measurement in Hydrocarbon Industry along with other industries.
  • Good knowledge of Process Level instrumentation
  • Understanding of local approval processes
  • Must have extensive experience in Oil & Gas along with diverse industries like Refineries, Petrochemical, Chemicals, Fertilizer, Power, W&WW Instrumentation with a proven record of success in sales and marketing management
  • Hands on experience with level instruments in hydrocarbon industry in mandatory.
  • Experience in working with teams, and large project management in complex organizations, is a plus. Willing to travel min 50% of time to assigned territories.

Desired Skills

  • Strong industry credibility and proven success with selling measurement solutions and providing technical support is mandatory.
  • Lead by example in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational, selling skills and work habits.
  • Extensive experience in all aspects of supplier relationship/customer management with a keen and strategic understanding of Measurement Solutions Group and end-user strategy is central.
  • Demonstrates ability to effectively interact, cooperate and communicate (i.e., must has good oral, written and presentation skills) within a multi-layered matrix organization.
  • Must possess superior “soloing” skills needed to navigate through the Measurement Solutions group Organization and get things done to support strategic customers. Market knowledge, relationships and working experience in assigned countries will be added advantage
