Job Title: Logistics Manager
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Salary Package: 350,000 - 550,000 Nigerian Naira per annum
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and transportation companies to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate tracking of stock.
- Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Train and supervise logistics staff to maintain high standards of performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and achieve organizational goals.
- Resolve any issues or delays in the supply chain to minimize disruptions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in logistics management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or similar role, preferably in the Lagos area.
- Strong knowledge of logistics principles and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Familiarity with local regulations and customs procedures.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
Salary: ₦350,000.00 - ₦550,000.00 per month
