JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and expand a standard pump repair portfolio.
- Grow and diversify company's customer base.
- Analyze client’s issues and develop plans to mitigate them.
- Maintain a complete and accurate record of all service assets and spares.
- Manage the service team by providing guidance, encouraging teamwork, and facilitating
professional work processes to achieve set service targets.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous or current exposure to equipment installations and “Mechanical Fitting Practices.”
- Shaft and coupling alignment, both multiple dial and laser methods.
- General experience with rotating equipment such as blowers, compressors, gear reducers, motor drives, and ideally on multi-stage pumps.
- Exposure to pump systems, fault finding and pump systems start-up, and commissioning
practices.
- Sound engineering practices with regard to fitting of tolerance components, such as sleeves, impellers, couplings etc. (Knowledge of fits and tolerances).
- Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
