Basic Function:
Perform various diagnostic X-ray procedures in Dhahran and the Districts. Also responsible of performing various routine, trauma and bedside radiographic procedures, and contribute in the daily operation of the EMS, General X-rays, and Fluoroscopy as needed.
Scope:
The work will be in Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare, Radiology Imaging Department. The work assignment will be in Dhahran or Al Hasa/UDH, based on the operational need. The working hours will be mandated to meet the operational needs as directed by the Radiology Management.
Principal Contacts:
Interaction will be on a daily basis with all Radiology or other technical staff and management as needed. Periodic Interaction with other services in JHAH or/and the other services’ key personnel may also be required.
Principal Duties:
- Performs exams according to routine protocols
- Performs independently all the routine exams
- Performs with mínimal supervision advanced X-ray exams, including all OR and Fluoroscopy needed procedure
- Keeps up to date with advances in radiology procedures and equipment.
- Supervise and train junior technologist
- Is capable of adjusting the current standards of procedures in order to obtain better image quality and increase quantity in the workflow
- Follows established radiologic requirements and regulations to ensure patient care and safety
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Science is required.
Experience:
Minimum 4 years clinical experience
Certifications/Other requirements as applicable:
- Eligibility to acquire and maintain a current Saudi Commission of Health Specialties license
