Job Description:
Position Purpose
- Responsible for leading successful supply chain network of subcontracted service centres
- including plants, on site solutions, and outstores / hubs in Greece - and transport operations. Effectively delivering customer perceived value, through a cost efficient and sustainable supply chain.
- Contact point for supply chain activities, both for external partners and internal stakeholders in supply chain and commercial business units. Member of the Greece Country Leadership Team
- Contributing directly to strategic and tactical projects, and supporting supplier procurement and transformation programmes
- Indirect report of Analyst, Carrier Management
Major/Key Accountabilities
Lead, manage and coordinate the network of transport and plant subcontracted service centres, on site solutions and outstores / hubs in Greece
Functional and sub-regional leadership
- Support the Greece commercial vision and strategy by setting goals, ensuring individual, team and subcontractor behaviours support this vision.
- Ensure the availability of required supply chain capabilities and capacities in the operations network through optimal plant network design and growth across pooling products and quality batches, in line with local market requirements - including new sites, business continuity planning and support the implementation of alternative services.
Supply chain management and control
- Ensure the highest service and quality standard for the customer and drive a culture change that will lead to excellent customer satisfaction.
- Manage service & quality customer complaints and drive for a fast and efficient solution. Responsible for the plant operations service performance, also including the turnaround times of the operation for our transport partners.
- Procurement and Management of Operations for a Service centre network including identifying suppliers, support negotiate contracts, and manage the subcontractor’s performance.
- Continuous monitoring, tracking, manage and challenge of such plant operations, including production plan delivery, cost rates, capacity, and service commitments. Manage asset inventory balance & maximise asset productivity at Plants.
- Supporting inventory planning by production capacity reviews and production plan execution.
- Manages and coordinates the controls and audits at the subcontract service centres - quality, safety, and asset
- Respect of the quality and service standards of our assets, identifying any gap areas from audits and following up on Corrective and Preventative actions
- Responsible for compliance with the Zero Harm policy (Risk and Compliance) at our subcontractors including compliance with stocking policies, and sustainability and waste.
- Validates subcontractors in the use of our IT tools and ensures that the consistency of the Information entered is aligned with the physical and financial, both in terms of processing activity and inventory control
- Carrier Management in developing and implementing transportation solutions, and transport execution of the logistics planning for the fulfilment of geographical area.
- Ensure continuous improvement of supply chain in all key areas (health & safety, costs, quality, customer satisfaction, engagement & enablement, sustainability, etc.).
- Collaborate cross functionally with supply chain partners, and when exceptions occur in the business, implement operational adjustments when required to minimise risk in service or financial planning.
Budget management, forecasting and cost optimization
- Budget
- and forecast responsibility. Analyse supply chain cost trends and drive actions with operations and logistics to ensure that cost performance is according to budget.
- Responsible for budget preparation, monitoring and improvement of all key cost drivers.
- Identify, recommend, analyse, and implement cost efficiency opportunities. For example, drive network optimization activities.
- Manage Stock variances through stock counts and analysis.
