Wood is currently recruiting for a Pre-Commissioning Supervisor to join the team in Thailand on a contract basis.

- Witness pre-commissioning and modularization activities at Vatana Phaisals Sattahip module yard and port yard, such as, but not limited to flushing of lines prior to hydro, line blows, flange management, torquing and tensioning of flanges, tightness tests and other activities such as dew point checks post hydro
- Support piping inspectors as required to witness things like hydro testing and carry out line walks
- If needed also help support the structural inspectors to carry out inspections as required
- Interface with both the yard and office overseas and will report to Brendan Cullen and site commissioning teams Darren Smirthwaite
- Generate observation reports as required
- Vocation, Diploma, or bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrument or related field
- Minimum 10 years experienced of working in Live Plant, Greenfield and Turnaround / Revamp work for Oil & gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Power Plant, or others similar type of plants
- Proven Supervisory experience in a Commissioning role in mechanical, piping, or rotating equipment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Considerable experience of supervising Construction staff to achieve effective construction execution
- Good HSES awareness and commitment including skill and knowledge in preparation of Method Statement, Job Safety Analysis and Risk Assessment
