Job Summary:

Job Description/Requirements:
Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that facilities meet government regulations, environment, health, fire safety, and security standards.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of staff in the general maintenance of the facilities. This includes cleaning, maintenance, personnel & security.
  • Source and manage all external maintenance & administrative vendors.
  • Manage and track all Work Order requests, and ensure prompt resolution of all work orders raised.
  • Ensure weekly and monthly supplies of consumables. This includes diesel, fuel supplies, water, and others.
  • Monitor and Escalate facility repairs for prompt resolution.
  • Create a weekly and monthly schedule of preventive maintenance, and share monthly maintenance reports.
  • Manage tasks related to HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and general office repairs.
  • Manage the equipment maintenance schedule and update the equipment maintenance log.
  • Supervise janitorial staff to ensure proper sanitary conditions at Eden facilities.
  • Provide administrative support as may be required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in facility management
  • Exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of safety and regulatory standards
  • Proficiency in facility management software/tools
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills
  • Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and orally
  • Must be able to skillfully gather and analyze information, as well as effectively read and interpret information
  • Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
  • Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must consistently improve performance through feedback
  • Must be proactive and able to work with little/no supervision
  • Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in facility management
  • Relevant certifications in facility management are a plus
