Job Purpose:
This position is responsible for working within the functions at Alpha Singapore supporting the product and process quality.
Responsibilities:
- Assist QA Manager in managing the quality assurance of the production activities including QMS and EMS systems.
- Review quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Management of the Quality Management Database
- Generate and Maintain Control Plan/ FMEA/Process Flow Chart
- Lead troubleshooting Process and close out on customer Complaints (8D approach)
- Respond to Customer Enquiries
- Review Customer Requirements and implementation
- Support Customer Audits/Internal Audits and any other 3rd Party audit
- Review and Update of Procedures to ensure compliance
- Generate Monthly KPI report related to Quality function.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Chemistry or Material Science.
- 5 year's of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
- Ability to cope in fast-paced, high volume manufacturing environment with emphasis on Zero Defect Culture.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
