Title: Lorry Driver 3 Ton Frozen Food Industries
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Lorry Driver to join our team in the Frozen Food Industry. As a Lorry Driver, you will be responsible for transporting frozen food products to various destinations in a safe and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a 3-ton lorry to transport frozen food products to designated locations
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely delivery
- Load and unload frozen food products from the lorry using appropriate equipment
- Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the lorry is in good working condition
- Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations during transportation
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time, date, and quantity of goods delivered
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the lorry at all times
- Communicate any delays, accidents, or other incidents to the relevant parties
- Assist in the loading and unloading of the lorry at the warehouse when needed
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a lorry driver, preferably in the frozen food industry
- Valid Class 3 driving license with a clean driving record
- Familiarity with frozen food transportation regulations and procedures
- Ability to operate a 3-ton lorry and handle various frozen food products
- Good knowledge of traffic rules and regulations
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy loads
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work on weekends and overtime if required
