M Recruitment Luxury Household are searching for a fulltime experienced proactive and flexible Household member of staff for the South Dublin area for a large private house with 4-bedroom with 5 people (kids aged 8 to 13). Principals generally work from office and leave the house management to household member of staff, they also travel individually at different times and on these occasion may ask for extended hours, but always with plenty of notice.

Days of work - Monday -Friday

Duties of role will be:

  • High attention to detail in all aspects of cleaning. Always keep house neat and tidy.
  • Keep house clean to five-star standard, including vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen.
  • Laundry: Washing, ironing, with the knowledge to care for clothing appropriately.
  • Cooking and preparing healthy fresh meals for the family - All ingredients will need to be freshly prepared
  • Complete weekly/daily shopping
  • Assisting with children when required, as they are mostly independent
  • Assist with school runs and collection once per day
  • Overseeing the children occasionally until parents return but more supervision than actual childcare.
  • Running errands, dealing with contractors, arranging deliveries and repairs are all part of the role.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years with the last employer
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position or a 4/5* hotel or in a private setting.
  • Capable of attending to our clients’ property with integrity and attention to detail.
  • Reliable, warm, trustworthy & caring are crucial.
  • Non-smoker
  • Reliable and trustworthy.
  • Ability to interact with Children daily.
  • Driving essential
  • Child friendly, flexible experienced housekeeper
  • Capable to prepare fresh simple family dishes.

Benefits:

  • €40,000 - €45,000 salary
  • A cleaner is also employed once per week to deep clean the house
