Staff Engineer Process Excellence:
Experience with creating and presenting data analysis reports for Senior Management and have the ability to translate the data to suit all levels within the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership, train engineers and implement plans to re-enforce the analytical approach to problem solving across all manufacturing locations.
  • Working in close partnership with plant engineering & operations to identify opportunities for improving quality, delivery & cost through the resolution of manufacturing problems.
  • Partner with plant managers, continuous improvement & managers on enterprise-level projects.
  • Support new product introduction through the resolution of manufacturing process problems associated with new processes & equipment.
  • As part of new equipment specifications work with project teams & vendors to optimize machine design & layout for optimal operational efficiency.
  • Facilitate a cross-site community of process engineers to maintain and share knowledge & lessons learned in problem-solving.
  • Influence peers, leaders, and team members to provide information and support for problem resolution, driving improvement across the organization.

Educational Requirements:

  • B.S. degree in Mechanical or related Engineering discipline is required.
  • Six Sigma (or equivalent) qualification
  • Black Belt is preferable.

Relevant Experience:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams through difficult problem-solving investigations and solutions.
  • Strong statistical and data analysis capability.
  • Minitab experience.
  • Capability in presentation preparation and communication across multiple organizational levels.
  • MS Azure and working with data warehouse architecture is an advantage as is experience in Apriso MES systems.
  • Experience in Six Sigma (DMAIC) or other structured problem-solving methodologies is required.

**Any applicant must have fluent English both written and verbal, paired with an existing work permit or visa for Ireland. (Stamp 4 or EU passport). This is initially an onsite role with some level of flexibility after the initial six months. Any applicant must be comfortable to be onsite in South Dublin 5 days per week.
