Area Sales Manager - Merchant Providers
About Your New Employer:
An established timber processing company are looking for an Area Sales Manager to join their team, covering the East & South of Ireland.
This is a permanent, field-based role, that will have you reporting to the Head of Group Sales.
As Area Sales Manager you will be dealing primarily with existing customers, aswell as ensuring new business is developed for your region.
The ideal person is a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual, with great communication skills and has a track record of selling timber/building products. You must have a strong willingness to grow and manage the sales territory.
About Your New Job:
- Sell to an established customer base as well as generate new business
- Build, maintain & manage long-lasting customer relationships
- Achieve & exceed annual sales targets and maintain a high level of customer service
- Ensure that the sales process and CRM are maintained
The Skills/Experience Needed:
- Proven track record selling timber/building products, ideally into builder merchant providers
- Experience dealing with the construction industry
- Proven ability to build, maintain & manage long lasting professional relationships with customers
- Experience in account management & journey planning
- Experience dealing with all levels of an organisation
- Full clean drivers license
