Sales Manager

As the *Sales Manager *for the hotel, you will lead our sales team in driving revenue growth and expanding our client base. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and maximising revenue opportunities.

Your leadership and vision will be instrumental in shaping the future success of our Hotel and Company.

Some Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team, setting clear goals and expectations.
  • Foster relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and travel agencies to generate leads and secure contracts.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Secure new business for the Hotels Banqueting Suite by securing events such as Concerts, Sporting Functions, Charity Events, Company Events etc.
  • Assist the General Manager in producing monthly MICE revenue forecasts.
  • Manage the budget for the sales department and ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track sales team performance.
  • Represent the hotel at industry events and trade shows to promote our brand.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of at least 3 years in a senior sales management role.
  • Strong knowledge of the Irish MICE & Corporate market.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of hotel sales and revenue management practices.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Outstanding customer relationship management skills.
