3Q Recruitment, on behalf of our esteemed client, are searching for a Catering Assistant/Kitchen Porter for a position in Dalkey.
Please note that this is a duel purpose position and so you will be required to undertake responsibilities from both areas.
We have been in operation for 25 years serving the hospitality sector using exceptional applicants, and now we want you to become a part of this dynamic team!
Position: Catering Assistant/Kitchen Porter
Location: Dalkey
Shifts: 7am - 6pm (Hours may vary depending on client’s needs) Monday - Friday with occasional weekends
Rate of pay: €15.53 (Double pay on Sundays and Bank Holidays)
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary requirements and restrictions.
Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Assist in setting up and clearing tables, and providing assistance to patients or customers as needed.
Ensure food is stored, labelled, and rotated properly to prevent spoilage and maintain quality.
Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with established procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a busy kitchen or catering environment is desirable.
Eligibility to work in Ireland (Visa/Work permit if needed)
References spanning the past 5 years of employment.
Full-time, flexible availability.
Proficiency in spoken English.
