Overview:
SPAR Canada, a global leader in retail merchandising and field marketing is looking for a highly motivated and energetic Recruiter to join our head office team in Vaughan. In this role, you will recruit for seasonal employees for a Garden Centre program. The seasonal team will work for a national retailer.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Coordinate full-cycle recruitment initiatives for seasonal job opportunities in a retail garden centre
- Review and qualify applicant resumes in accordance with SPAR's hiring needs
- Conduct preliminary phone interviews to assess talent fit
- Manage the administrative aspect of recruitment - file management, record keeping, hew hire administration and system entry, etc.
- Initiate and conduct criminal background checks and reference checks on prospective employees
- Liase with other departments as required
JOB QUALIFICATIONS-EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Skilled with ATS system, job boards and social media
- Strong understanding of current labour market
- Recriuitment experience
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage a workload of competing priorities while under pressume and ability to meet established deadlines
- Exceptional organizational and administration skills
- Computer literacy with expertise using Excel, Google Sheets, Teams and PowerPoint
