We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Warehouse and Operations Manager to join our dynamic team.
Job Overview:
The Assistant Warehouse and Operations Manager will be responsible for assisting the Warehouse and Operations Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse and distribution center. This role requires a hands-on approach and strong leadership skills to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping of products.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse and Operations Manager to develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management.
- Oversee the picking and packing process to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Train and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring high levels of productivity and motivation.
- Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to fulfill orders and resolve any issues.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and monitor warehouse performance.
- Assist in conducting regular inventory audits and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare and present reports on warehouse operations to senior management.
- Manage logistics and distribution of products to various customers
- Manage team schedules
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse or operations management role.
- Proven experience in inventory management, order fulfillment, and warehouse operations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
- Valid Qatar driver's license.
