Operational Manager/trainer

We are searching for a passionate and experienced individual to join our team as an Operational Manager and Trainer!

In this role, you will be responsible for:
Operational Management:

• Overseeing all aspects of the coffee shop's daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
• Managing inventory, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining stock levels.
• Creating and adhering to budget guidelines, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability.
• Scheduling and managing staff, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
• Implementing and enforcing company policies and procedures.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both customers and staff.
• Identifying and resolving operational issues promptly and effectively.

Training and Development:

• Developing and delivering comprehensive training programs for new and existing staff on all aspects of coffee preparation, customer service, and operation procedures.
• Providing ongoing coaching and mentorship to staff, helping them develop their skills and knowledge.
• Staying up-to-date on coffee trends and best practices and incorporating them into training programs.
• Evaluating staff performance and providing constructive feedback to help them improve.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a coffee shop or similar fast-paced environment.
• Proven experience in managing staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
• Strong understanding of coffee preparation methods and equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating a positive customer experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Salary: BD350.000 - BD450.000 per month
